In 1968 Saab and Scania merged, giving Saab access to Scania's engine making facilities and so they were able shortly after to make their own version of the engine they had been buying from Triumph.
It also gave the new conglomerate the chance to produce this publicity shot, showing a Viggen, a 340, a bus, what looks like a 143 series truck, a 900 and a 9000.
In 1995 the company who controlled Saab Scania decided to split them again so the likes of this 1986 picture won't be seen again.

About half a second after this photo was taken the drivers/pilots of everything except the Viggen all screamed "What the fuck was that?!"
